Girls’ Day 2021
The workshop offered by IBT in the context of the Girls‘ Day 2021 attracted great interest amongst female youngsters in the field of medicine and technology.
IBT offered a workshop on „Medical technologies at the hospital and at home – visualizing the heart’s activity“ in the context of this year’s Girls’ Day on April 22nd 2021. Owing to the great interest shown by the female youngsters, the workshop was booked up right after the registration had opened. A total of 20 girls aged 12 to 16 enthusiastically joined the virtual meeting which – amongst others – explained and demonstrated the functioning of a pulse oximeter and the measurement of a surface ECG. Interactive questions and answers as well as quizzes with active participation livened up the presentation.
