iHeart conference 2021
The annual iHeart conference this year took place from July 1-3 as a purely virtual meeting. Under the title "2021 iHEART Congress - Modelling the Cardiac Function" about 200 scientists from all over the world met to present their research projects in the field of cardiac modeling. Surely, the fields of electrophysiology, cardiac mechanics and fluid dynamics were all strongly represented. Insights into clinical issues rounded out the program. The IBT was also successfully involved in the conference: With the two presentations by Claudia Nagel and Jochen Brenneisen, current IBT research could be transported into the community and could also be discussed there.
All in all, a very successful conference that offered many insights into current research work in the field of cardiac modeling.
