EHRA Conference 2023

The European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) conference took place in Barcelona on April 16-18, 2023. This year was a special occasion as the conference celebrated its 20th anniversary. Patricia Martínez, one of our PhD students, was nominated for a Young Investigator Award in Clinical and Translational Science for her work on personalizing the effective refractory period of atrial computer models and its implications for atrial fibrillation susceptibility. The nomination allowed Patricia to present her work to a jury and the scientific community, and we are proud that she won second place. The EHRA conference is a renowned international meeting in the field of cardiac electrophysiology and serves as a platform for the presentation of current research results, from the latest clinical studies to basic research and computer modeling for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
